INTRODUCTION
The WTO, as the cornerstone of the multilateral trading system seeks to improve and strengthen rules designed to promote the expansion of international trade. It is responsible for negotiating and implementing new trade agreements and is in charge of policing member countries' adherence to all the WTO Agreements. The basic principles which guide the WTO are as follows: 
• Non-Discrimination Principle
- MFN treatment
- National Treatment 
• Security and predictability of market access
• Increasing the participation of developing countries in the multilateral trading system
• Fair trade–possibility to respond to unfair trading practices such as dumping and subsidization
• Transparency
